We have been involved with the livestock industry well over eight years. Since 2001, we have been and continue to be involved in the Thoroughbred Horse Racing Industry. Kama'aina Thoroughbreds have successfully won on the West Coast at such prestige racetracks like Santa Anita, Hollywood Park, Golden Gate Fields, Turf Paradise and Emerald Downs. During that time, we have learned a great deal about what it takes to be successful in raising and racing Thoroughbreds. Our goal is to transfer our success, knowledge and experience of Thoroughbreds into the breeding of these wonderful animals called Alpacas.
